We are officially two full months into 2020 and already, so much has happened. Some happy moments and some tragic ones. Unfortunately, that’s life and all we can do is keep pushing forward with a little hope and a lot of optimism. I never wrote out my 2020 New Year’s resolution on the blog because this year, I wanted to keep it more personal. I saw a quote on (you guessed it) PINTEREST that said “Don’t tell people about your plans. Show them your results.” That really made me think for a minute and I decided to write out my plans / goals in my personal journal where I could see them everyday. I even started setting small monthly mini goals that were more achievable. Slowly but surely, I found myself crossing them off one by one. (Guys, goal-setting really works!)
Goal-setting is one of my favorite things to do because it really allows you to get your priorities in order. It’s important to materialize your vision and hold yourself accountable. Goal setting also allows you to see your long term vision and gives you short term motivation and inspiration to achieve your passions. It allows you to take control of your life. On that note, I created a quick checklist for a way to list out your goals for each aspect of your life. I did one of these myself and I hope you find it helpful in your life.
