These last few weeks have been a time for growth and learning. I stopped posting and took the time to listen, take action, and have difficult conversations with my friends and family. These discussions were long overdue but I’m glad they finally happened. Together, we’re all driving positive change and I’m proud – we just need to keep up the momentum.
On a lighter note, I have a diary where I journal all of my thoughts whenever I feel overwhelmed and things are out of my control. I feel like most of you are also feeling stressed and anxious. Partly due to quarantine still being on and our way of life changing as we ease back into the working world. Letting out your thoughts on a piece of paper or typing it on a word document helps calm that anxiety. To help you reflect on the current situation in this world and navigate your own thoughts, I’ve put together a few prompts to get you started. Take the time to grab a notebook and a drink of your choice and write down how you’re feeling. I promise it helps.
